Orlando may be home to the world's greatest theme parks but shopping is one of the most popular attractions in town. More than 485 shops and outlets can be found close to our four-bedroom, two-bath Florida vacation rental in Lake Davenport Estates, making shopping in Orlando an attraction you will not want to miss. Here are some of our favorite upscale malls near the tourist areas and our Orlando Vacation Rental .....
The Florida Mall: One of the largest malls in the state, anchored by Macy's, Dillards, JC Penney, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sears, a large selection of specialty stores, a great food court and more!! The Florida Mall is located at the intersection of Sand Lake Road and the Orange Blossom Trail, halfway between the Orlando International Airport and I-Drive.
Mall at Millenia: Features Bloomingdale's, Crate & Barrel, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, Cartier, and restaurants such as PF Changs and The Cheesecake Factory. Mall at Millenia is located at the Conroy Road exit of I-4.
Orlando Premium Outlets: If you're in Orlando you MUST go to the Premium Outlets. Every designer you could wish for under one beautiful mall. Disney Outlet and Universal Outlet are also located at Premium Outlets. Both offer discounts on items found inside the parks including t-shirts and hats. It is located at the south end of I-Drive, near the State Road 535 exit of I-4.
Festival Bay Mall: One of Orlando's most unique shopping destinations is the Festival Bay Mall at International Drive. It features over 60 specialty stores, 11 dining destinations and 4 exciting entertainment venues. The stores include Bass Pro Shops, Ron Jon Surf Shop, PacSun, Nine West Outlet, Jones New York Outlet and many more. Festival Bay offers the best in family entertainment in Orlando including Cinemark 20 Movie Theaters, Vans Skatepark and the Ron Jon Surfpark which has been designed specifically for surfing and bodyboarding. There is a great indoor arena with lots of ramps for skate boarding, roller blades and mountain biking (the equipment is available for rent).
Flea Markets: There are lots of these along the 192 and they are certainly worth a browse if you are looking for some small items to take home. They are also a great place to pick up some great luggage as you will probably need some extra space for all the bargains you have picked up during your stay!!
Walmart: This great 24 hr Superstore is just a couple of minutes drive from our Orlando vacation rental and is full of stuff you need and stuff you didn't know you needed! They have a wide range of food, toys, household goods and are located on Hwy 27.
